The Surface Slim Pen 2 does not come with a charger.Write, sketch, navigate, and recharge.You won’t be able to take advantage of the haptic feedback anyways, which is limited to the Surface Laptop Studio and the Surface Pro 8, and it won’t attach magnetically to them either. My advice is to stick with the Surface Slim Pen 1 or the regular Surface Pen if you need to ink on your older Surface devices. For some reason, Microsoft decided not to include the charger in the box, like it did with the Slim Pen 1. So even though the Pen 2 is advertised to work with devices like the Surface Laptop 4 and the Surface Pro 7+ on the box, you’ll still be left with no way to charge the pen.

It’s important to keep in mind that the Pen 2 doesn’t come with a charger in the box. Place the Slim Pen 2 in the charger and connect it to a power source with a USB-C cable.
